CCIM Financial Calculator

This course is designed to provide an understanding of financial analysis tools, concepts and calculations necessary for commercial real estate. It will prepare the student for the calculations used in the CCIM Intro course and beyond. Students will be provided with an invaluable excel workbook that they will retain. An introduction to the CCIM designation and the process to obtain it will be presented

Requirements:
• Laptop loaded with A FULL VERSION (activated) of Microsoft Excel *
• Basic understanding of NOI, discounting, compounding, and general commercial real estate knowledge.

*Macs with the most recent version of Excel will NOT be able to run the financial calculator spreadsheet.

You're invited to attend your NECCIM sponsored resume review workshop on September, 8 2009 at the Northeast Association of Realtors offices in Chelmsford, MA.  At this workshop, which runs from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, you'll learn about the requirements the CCIM Institute asks you to meet when submitting your Portfolio of Qualifying Experience.  After reviewing the requirements, the session will open up to a general question and answer session to allow you to better prepare a successful portfolio submission.

Your session leader will by Jeremy Cyrier, CCIM who is an instructor with the Institute.  You'll learn some of the tricks for preparing your portfolio as well as what graders are particularly attuned to when reviewing your submission.  You'll also find out what happens if your portfolio doesn't make the cut and how to fix it in time to make the cut-off date.
