You are invited to join CCIM Greater Los Angeles for "Shelter from the Storm: Dealing with Distressed Loans and Assets".

In this weakened real estate market, important questions that have arisen are (1) how does a lender resolve a non-performing loan, (2) how does a special servicer satisfy all of the interested parties in a CMBS loan and (3) how does a borrower maximize its return on a real property-or, at the very least, avoid further accruing liabilities? The following program outlines some suggestions for maximizing value for certain types of real property.

While each property presents a unique situation, in this market, there are only a few remaining "exit strategies" that appear to remain viable. As such, there are only a few ways a lender can dispose of a real property interest or resolve an outstanding loan. This program will investigate those options in detail.
