The Iowa Chapter of CCIM and the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA) are very pleased to announce the upcoming 14th Annual Iowa Commercial Real Estate Expo.

The event is being held September 28, 2010 at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel, 1900 50th Street, West Des Moines.

This year we have Nido Qubein as our keynote speaker.
As a business leader, he is chairman of Great Harvest Bread Company with 220 stores in 41 states and serves on the boards of several national organizations including BB&T, a Fortune 500 company with 125 billion-dollars in assets, and the La-Z-Boy Corporation, one of the largest and most recognized furniture brands worldwide.

We also have Peter Mosca to start your day, as well as provide one of our 12 Breakout Sessions.
Peter L. Mosca is president and founder of BAK Communications, Inc. He has over 22 years of communications and media consulting experience, serving a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the CCIM Institute and the REALTOR Association on all three levels – national, state and local.

Back by popular demand, Dr. Ernie Goss returns to the Expo to discuss contemporary issues of the economy. Ernie Goss is currently the MacAllister Chair and Professor of Economics at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and Director of the Goss Institute in Denver, Colorado. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Tennessee. He was a visiting scholar with the Congressional Budget Office for 2003-04. In the Fall of 2005, the Nebraska Attorney General appointed Goss to head a task force examining gasoline pricing in the state. He is also a past faculty research fellow with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He recently testified before the U.S. Congress regarding the closure of GM and Chrysler dealerships and he continues to consult with dealerships on the financial impact of shuttering the GM dealerships.
