CCIM February 2010 Luncheon and Class
Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter
02/09/2010
[ 11:00 AM ] to 02/10/2010 [ 01:20 PM ]
We are going to experiment with a different format for our Needs/Wants component of our monthly Luncheon meeting in an attempt to gain wider participation and a livelier discussion.
This new format is how the Houston Chapter runs their needs/wants component - and they have had great success with it.
The new format involves running the Needs/Wants BEFORE the networking get together. So get to TAR early if you have a property to pitch, a client need, or you want other brokers' opinions to help you move a difficult property.
Here is the schedule for February's meeting:
11:00 Needs/Wants
11:30 Registration and Networking
Noon Luncheon Meeting
If you DON'T want to participate in the Needs/Wants section, just join us at the normal 11:30 luncheon check-in time.
The Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter is proud to host speakers Melissa Antol and Vincent V. Catalano at our February luncheon. They will have a PowerPoint and a video that shows a simulation of the indirect left turn that is the final design for 7 major intersections along Grant Road. This major road improvement project involves a 5-mile corridor, with 420 impacted properties, and will span +12 years.
Melissa Antol is a Project Manager for the transportation planning division at the City of Tucson Transportation Department, where she has worked for the past five years. She is responsible for managing the Grant Road and Broadway Boulevard Corridor Projects. Vincent Catalano has been a project manager with Kimley-Horn and Associates for over a year. This past year his focus has been on the Grant Road Corridor Project, the Tucson Modern Streetcar and the 4th Ave/Fontana Bike Boulevard.
DATE: February 9, 2010
TIME: 12:00 noon after the Haves/Wants and Check-in
LUNCHEON CHOICE: Chicken Fajitas (meat) OR Vegetarian Tamale Pie
*Class will follow immediately after the luncheon:
Dan Eshbaugh of Mercantile Capital has agreed to provide a continuing education class on February 9th on “Recession-Resistant Selling.” This course has been approved for 3 CEUs (General).
COST: No charge to CCIM Designees; $25 charge for non-Designees
*Any reservation received after 4:00 pm the Friday before the meeting is considered at the door. There is an additional $10 charge for "at the door" attendees. Cancellations must be received by 4 pm the Friday BEFORE the meeting or you will be billed.
